Sourdough Top Pattern

The Sourdough top is the perfect spring and summer staple. It features a high boat neckline, facing and bias tape finishing and has multiple views and options!

View A features adjustable drawstrings at thewaist, and is a crop length that hits around the natural waist. The neckline and armholes are finished with bias tape. View B is the same as View A, but features an elasticated waist. View C and D have a slightly swung out side seam, and the hem is finished with a wide facing. The neckline is finished with a facing and the armholes arefinished with bias tape. View C is a crop length and View D is full length.

Recommended Fabrics:

This pattern would sew up well in light to medium weight woven fabrics (4-6 ozor 115 to 170 gsm) such as linen, linen blends, chambray, cotton, or cotton blends.View C and D would work well with both lighter weight and slightly heavier weight fabrics such as denim, but I would not use anything over7 oz or 238 gsm.

This pattern is a great scrapbuster and only uses a small amount of fabric.
